A Wedding in the Country

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

We like contemporary stationery design, but we also like traditional too! A traditional Country wedding can be beautiful, sophisticated and stylish.

The theme used for our most recent was based on a cream and racing green colour palette - very simple and sophisticated! The Country wedding setting was stunning and a huge compliment to the vision of the Bride and her wedding planner (www.lisahilliardweddingplanning.co.uk).

Burnt Orange Falling Leaves Stationery

Monday, July 5th, 2010

A recent commission for an Autumnal wedding in October resulted in the most stunning foil block invite. The falling leaves theme was used to great effect within the folder and insert invite. The burnt orange colour was a stunning combination with the cream stock and the simple illustration another triumph of less is more!

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

The simple truth of the GREEN Typeheart invite is the beauty of the type setting….. the personal detail encompassed in the design makes it an original, specifically designed for the client. The Kraft envelope provides another simple truth - it compliments the clean invite design. Full Stop.

Purple - a walk on on the wild side!

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

It was exciting to meet a young couple who were local, found me on the internet and were willing to explore the possibilities! The young woman bought me a groovy gift wrap which was the inspiration for her wedding - she knew little about what she wanted specifically, but knew she wanted a funky colour palette. The Lovetype2 design was selected and the couple were looking to combine lilac with cranberry  - the result was interesting, experimental and beautiful at the same time.

It is always fantastic to have a really positive ‘Last Word’ from the Client. We received this lovely email from Emma, our Bride-to-be….

‘ Just a quick note to thank you for all the time, effort and love you’ve put into our wedding invitations. They arrived beautifully packaged, along with scented lavender hearts, pink foam and a personal note. Your attention to detail throughout has been meticulous, the final outcome was more than we imagined, and nothing too much trouble!! The quality of the card, paper and envelopes is exceptional and our invitations are gorgeous. I look forward to receiving the finishing touch for our tables.

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

A traditional cream stationery design for created for this bespoke wedding stationery for Victoria & Rory. The design brief was to create a simple and sophisticated stationery set including invites, place names, table numbers, table plan, cocktail menus and order or service. As a designer, it is important to consider every minute detail including the final presentation of the invites. Hence, all the stationery was packaged in beautiful claret satin ribbon to ensure the customer experience is magical from the beginning right through to the end.

The Happily Ever After are always attempting to develop their existing range and whilst it may begin with a place name or an invite, it is always imperative to find creative ways to extend the stationery designs.
