Dusky Rose Invite

March 21st, 2011

The stationery brief was to create a visual prequel for the wedding - the main focus, aside from the bride herself, were vintage roses (Memory Lane & Amnesia). The bride wanted her invites to reflect the soft, feminine and romantic values of her Vintage Summer wedding.

Ted’s Christening

March 21st, 2011

It is always a tricky situation when a designer is sending out their own invite - you may think it is easy to design a christening invite for the ones own, but let me reassure it is ten times more difficult.  You have lots of ideas, but must choose just one! Ted’s christening reverted to the first rule of designing - keep it simple! The navy and lime green colour scheme give the invite a boyish twist and the wording was keep purposefully uncomplicated.

Scroll Stationery

February 15th, 2011

Our most recent stationery design was based on the idea of a scroll invite sent out in a beautiful bijoux Kraft canister with a matching label. The scroll idea was based on a story of Graham & Sam, an original and interesting concept which captivated the personality of the Bride & Groom perfectly. The brief comprised of a the story and the flower in the picture (to be used as a reference for colour!). The spring green and peachy pink stationery produced a delicate aesthetic.

September 5th, 2010

We like contemporary stationery design, but we also like traditional too! A traditional Country wedding can be beautiful, sophisticated and stylish.

The theme used for our most recent was based on a cream and racing green colour palette - very simple and sophisticated! The Country wedding setting was stunning and a huge compliment to the vision of the Bride and her wedding planner (www.lisahilliardweddingplanning.co.uk).

Burnt Orange Falling Leaves Stationery

July 5th, 2010

A recent commission for an Autumnal wedding in October resulted in the most stunning foil block invite. The falling leaves theme was used to great effect within the folder and insert invite. The burnt orange colour was a stunning combination with the cream stock and the simple illustration another triumph of less is more!

Purple - a walk on on the wild side!

May 2nd, 2010

It was exciting to meet a young couple who were local, found me on the internet and were willing to explore the possibilities! The young woman bought me a groovy gift wrap which was the inspiration for her wedding - she knew little about what she wanted specifically, but knew she wanted a funky colour palette. The Lovetype2 design was selected and the couple were looking to combine lilac with cranberry  - the result was interesting, experimental and beautiful at the same time.
